Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Who We Are

Clarim provides CFO-grade margin analysis software for e-commerce businesses. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data: Your email address and subscription tier, provided via our payment processor at checkout.
  • Usage data: Request timestamps, run counts, and feature usage — used for billing enforcement and product improvement.
  • Uploaded data: CSV files you upload (sales, cost, channel fee data). These are processed to produce your analysis and stored for your run history. We do not access them for any other purpose.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the Service
  • To enforce plan limits (run counts, SKU caps)
  • To send you transactional emails
  • To improve the product (aggregated, anonymised usage only)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your uploaded business data to train machine learning models.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with the following sub-processors:

  • Paddle.com Market Limited — subscription billing and payment processing. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for all transactions.
  • Vercel — frontend and application hosting

All sub-processors are contractually bound to process data only as instructed.

5. Data Retention

  • Starter: run history retained for 7 days
  • Pro: run history retained for 1 year
  • Enterprise: run history retained indefinitely

Upon account cancellation, your data is deleted within 30 days unless you request earlier deletion.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Credentials are hashed before storage. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing clarim.support@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies & Browser Storage

The Service uses minimal browser storage solely for session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for all such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
